Don't get me wrong
I'm not advocating war
but, when a hostile nation
can land missiles, at our door
is it too much to expect
that something, somewhere be done
to diffuse the situation
staring down, a loaded gun
I can only postulate
would Kennedy, have approved?
having taken care, in Cuba
those missile's, were removed
the world today, so hostile
violence, seems the only way
tell me what can we do
what, we should have done?
too make this go away
an un-exploded
sun
