My childhood was full of happiness I was a hero of my own world There were no villains Just friends and companions I grew up well-defined My world of fantasy started changing Reality constantly hit me And awoke me to the real world Adolescence was not how I thought it would be It was an eye-opener, an enlightenment If there is real, then there is fake Be it with things or people Trends, fashion, phones, whatsoever My classmates had all these But one thing caught me defenseless A lady to share a man's time So there it was, I saw a view An attraction perhaps, towards someone With ignorance in mind So none to lose, falsely A dream, a goal to reach Someone for me, a God-given gift Forever is our road, my love You are my sincerest prayer
