*You were my summer, Waking up my sleepy eyes With your striking smile Like the sunlight shining through the leaves. You kissed me And your mouth tasted like The mocha you were sipping While reading your favorite novel. You hugged me Like you were bathing me With the cool morning breeze. Until I woke up next to nothing With the window open Then the snow started falling I realized, It's the winter season.*                       - c. b.
