For the World (To Crash Down on Me)

I asked

For an end to this

I wished

For a way out

I cried

For the world

To crash down on me

I begged

For no friends to keep

I whispered

For no heart to love

I called

For the world

To crash down on me

I gasped

For less air to breathe

I Yelled

For less joy to see

I roared

For the world

To crash down on me

I wept

For nothing would work

I howled

For I was not alone

I screamed

For the would

Would not crash down on me
