12

on a scale of one to desperate

calling the ex boyfriend

who told me,

'it scares me how much

i love you'

then broke up with me

then seduced me on his couch

promptly after

is a 12.

lonely fuels

regrettable decisions

and sits unmoving in the gut,

a boulder.
