I couldn't reach you no matter how close you were
As I wake up from this nightmare, I start to cry
But I held back my tears because I didn't want to cry until I had you by my side again
As days go by I start to lose something everyday
However, I never knew what I was losing
I had never imagined this day would come
After many years of loneliness I finally met you
As I tried to make things up for you
You couldn't bear the sight of seeing me go on like this since that day
Because you still remember it like it was yesterday
You knew everything about me, but couldn't help me decide my path in life
As you continue to walk away I knew that I had to change myself into a different person
Although I saw you more often I didn't want to face you until I changed
Then before I knew it I my feelings began to change towards you
I couldn't tell if I really loved you or did I really love you from the beginning
Our meetings declined until we didn't see each other anymore
As days go by, we started seeing different people
Then all of a sudden, by coincidence, we saw each other at the restaurant door
As we saw each other our hearts skipped a beat
We started talking in the restaurant and began to see one another again
As our days progressed we fell in love again
After years of seperation we were together again
I know it took a long time but in the end
We finally were together at last
And I'll never let you go away again
