That’s what he does He takes a match Out of the box It’s a fresh pack And then it lights up The candle must be near by The candle is near by The candle is yearning To be alive and to stay alive And so the boy Gets a match Lights up the candle But , no one was there Like a cameraman He watches and observes As the flame of the candle Disintegrates Ashes murk up the lighted area Its easy to forget the flame When it could have burned forever And as long as the boy has a candle A wick and a box of matches This candle will burn
