disengage

can you disengage my mouth again?

this drive by eclipse we're in

halt another passionate war

that's what the shape of your lips are for

black out the shades of grey

a catastrophic way to stay

draw a line without an end

or break the heart of your best friend

as we play this routine game

my memory skips as we begin

i'm okay, no one's to blame

still the rounds go off inside my veins
