Dangling
Above the mouth of Caesar
The fruit of wine
Serves one sole purpose
To sweeten the pallet
And quench the thirst
Of the man who controls
The fate of others
But
The natural cluster
That grapes do grow
Suggests that we're better
Together
And not alone.
