Next to me children throw paper airplanes to the sky Against the wind they don’t know stops it A leaf flutters to the ground to join its brethren in Embracing air for direction But in flight nonetheless In smoke, my mouth releasse my addiction through Parents shake their heads and open their Mouths against mine warning children Against my dreams and how I need to get to them I used to hold my breath Walking past what is now for me Release my inhale into my breath Into sky into wind with it Birds and bikes fly past Children and dogs run after meaning in the grass I search for The same All

Winded is forgetting to inhale air in weave of breath
Next to me children throw paper airplanes to the sky Against the wind they don’t know stops it A leaf flutters to the ground to join its brethren in Embracing air for direction But in flight nonetheless In smoke, my mouth releasse my addiction through Parents shake their heads and open their Mouths against mine warning children Against my dreams and how I need to get to them I used to hold my breath Walking past what is now for me Release my inhale into my breath Into sky into wind with it Birds and bikes fly past Children and dogs run after meaning in the grass I search for The same All
