Like Harsringar flowers, my love never bloomed in daylight. It quietly opened its petals in the silence of night. Its tenderness glowed beneath the moon, but by dawn, exhausted from longing, it loosened itself from the branch and fell softly into devotion.

The Sorrow Flower
Like Harsringar flowers, my love never bloomed in daylight. It quietly opened its petals in the silence of night. Its tenderness glowed beneath the moon, but by dawn, exhausted from longing, it loosened itself from the branch and fell softly into devotion.
Harsringar flower or Arbor Tristis ( in latin) also known as Tree of sorrow they only blooms at night and falls by dawn. However in Hindu culture we collect this fallen flower and use as an offering to goddess these flowers are prohibited from picking it directly from tree only the fallen ones are allowed for offering. So they r used for devotion.
