Let me me slip into your spaces. Blankets layered, fingers yearning. Your warm neck calls to my wet cheek. Beating hearts in tandem, softly. Let us sleep soundly as we rarely do, with gentle rhythms of restful breaths. Peaceful pleasures are abounding in this eternal space. Let us remember the day we met two hundred years before each of us knew anything; there are infinite lifetimes still waiting. Let us be shy and scared and sweet. I know, my insides are shaking too. Your smile delivers a secret message while leaning kisses on foreheads too soon. Let me feel your weight release like letting go in an ice cold river. Let’s run until we lose our breath. Tired, delighted, unknowing, and so much bolder. Let’s let each other have these moments; a story we will keep to ourselves… You and I will recall one another with sweetness and well wishes forever.
