Asking so many questions, I can't keep track of the answers, the note pages stack. Spilled emotions, sealed promotions, and I think I should go down the hall, open the can of worms and let them crawl all over me, talk to the mirror, face my best friend and biggest fear with a touch of disdain daily. Bleed through my veins, to my heart, this is the start, and the end now escapes me. This cycle of hell seems inevitable. I think, maybe only a shrink can now save me, so I'm better off getting my brain washed and getting numb, collecting dues from my trauma as they pay me

Receipts of Trauma
