you always ask me to open up your water bottle because it’s too sealed; you always ask me to take off that one part of your clarinet because it’s too fastened; you always ask me to carry your bags because they’re too heavy. but once i do any of those things, i do it as if it’s nothing; the bottle being the easiest thing i could ever open, that one clarinet part just needing a little bit of twisting, your bags as light as a feather. it made me realize how weak you truly are— not in a way to bully you, but rather in way that makes me want to protect you, to keep you safe from every single harm that comes your way whether it be the biggest of storms or the slightest drizzle in the sky.
