I read that at Moms wedding
On the beach
A cold California day
And it seemed so out of place
For it to be raining at the beach
But it was the day of homecoming
And I cried and said it shouldve been
In a church
With a white dress
And family
And a pastor
But I don't even believe in god
So what sense does that make
None
Just like my red mini dress
And the dance floor lights
That made my glitter heels blush and giggle
And the way they called my name
"Calli!"
Yep, just like the state
