I'm losing all perception of time I'm losing my ability to write and rhyme I'm losing strength to endure this climb I stare at the same shower tile The saliva in my throat sours to bile And now, the rarest thing is a smile The songs repeat They force me to consume, to eat I'm stranded on this forever street Cinema envelopes me Her script is a love decree Her dialogue is a strangled plea And literature hugs my chest She prepares me for tomorrow's test She'll be there when I lay for my final rest The clouds move past They travel seemingly fast They represent the sailors and their metal mast After it all, I just want to hold your hand To tread on this unknown land To clasp our lives with a wedding band

I'm losing all perception of time
I'm losing all perception of time I'm losing my ability to write and rhyme I'm losing strength to endure this climb I stare at the same shower tile The saliva in my throat sours to bile And now, the rarest thing is a smile The songs repeat They force me to consume, to eat I'm stranded on this forever street Cinema envelopes me Her script is a love decree Her dialogue is a strangled plea And literature hugs my chest She prepares me for tomorrow's test She'll be there when I lay for my final rest The clouds move past They travel seemingly fast They represent the sailors and their metal mast After it all, I just want to hold your hand To tread on this unknown land To clasp our lives with a wedding band
I've come to the conclusion that we're all idiots.
