Ive got some bad news I woke up still thinking of you You’re still there grinning at the **** I said When got a slap on the head Ive got some bad news I’m still thinking of you Tears in my eyes listening to old stories Remember when’s bringing back up some old memories Generational grin grows wide and deep Haunting the corners of my half-slept sleep Ive got some bad news I woke up still missing you Your face in the photograph caught in between All the old times we’d take for routine Ive got some bad news I’m still missing you Your shadow still stands tall in the frames A silent reminder that nothing stays Wish you would’ve told me minutes grow sour Wish you would’ve stayed to see this hour
