You still feel like home
like love, like comfort, my peace, shalom
like calm, like dawn, my gentle breeze, for you I wrote this poem
To speak of your love that renews and makes me whole.
Your love leaves me bare
Naked, barren and afraid I stare
Incomplete, and broken I feel alone and I fear
That no one will understand the weight I bear
That no one will hold me or show me they care
But then you console me, you call me your heir
I still feel my brokenness but now I dare
To walk in freedom and power with sheer -- will that I will win because I know you are here.
You still feel like home.
