Time is always slipping away from us Like small grains of sand in an hourglass. The seconds tick by as we watch Our worlds move on without us. Entropy weakens us And erodes our will As we slumber Through our lives Until Death. Life Begins When we stop Caring about Things we cannot change And focus entirely On the things that matter most. To breathe in life and exhale love To all the beauty that life commands Is the truest form of living there is.

Hourglass
Time is always slipping away from us Like small grains of sand in an hourglass. The seconds tick by as we watch Our worlds move on without us. Entropy weakens us And erodes our will As we slumber Through our lives Until Death. Life Begins When we stop Caring about Things we cannot change And focus entirely On the things that matter most. To breathe in life and exhale love To all the beauty that life commands Is the truest form of living there is.
This was an experiment in form.
