Slip the knot off the gate and hurry down the lane Freedom, just a twist of fate remembering, her name Escaping to the world not knowing paths or signs Running, all flags unfurled avoiding traps, and mines Creation a little cheaper now her spirit no longer here In time, somewhere, somehow I'll hope to join her there I can still see her visage when I dream, or close my eyes Carried like a treasured message something, that will never die
