You are like a bird who gathers twigs Each one shapes the place you sit You ask of Me and you receive. For all good things I gave to you. So choose the best twigs for your nest The finest lint Rise to your quest The prayers you speak The hopes you lift All move through these eyes of fate. You fell You cried You held your shame My love for you has stayed the same The twigs are the choices I lead you to A storm may destroy, but I renew.

The Nest After the Storm
You are like a bird who gathers twigs Each one shapes the place you sit You ask of Me and you receive. For all good things I gave to you. So choose the best twigs for your nest The finest lint Rise to your quest The prayers you speak The hopes you lift All move through these eyes of fate. You fell You cried You held your shame My love for you has stayed the same The twigs are the choices I lead you to A storm may destroy, but I renew.
