Well empty sockets or the pits of my soul could be the oubliette though eyes that grow sounds like potatoes but you're not planting tatties in my eyes ST behind my ears maybe ( it's a saying there's enough dirt in these ears to grow potatoes) so we will feast on tatties and poetic metaphors.
