When i was a little girl i thought i was in love
I thought love was just having a boyfriend
I thought that love was just saying he's mine
But i have never been so wrong
When i was 13 i thought holding hands was love
I believed that when you kissed it was love
My mom said my dad said he loved her and she knew that was love
The first time someone said they loved me
I panicked because it felt so wrong
It felt wrong to say i love you when you dont
To this day i still dont know what love is
Yes i have said it to people before
But that did not mean much
Love cannot be forced
My mom says love comes when the time is right
Stop wasting time looking for love
Live your life and make mistakes while you can
