Envious, covetous, desirous I am for that boy With his villa and orchard Apricots apricating, all precociously Reaching learning maturing While I humble I don't seek his house His life of beauty Or the size of their estate I want to cartograph The chambers of my heart As he has To know if my square footage can compare, If my chamber doors swing open, rust themselves closed If rooms are collapsing, any hope to rebuild If I can yearn like Elio, Still.

Chambers of the Heart
Envious, covetous, desirous I am for that boy With his villa and orchard Apricots apricating, all precociously Reaching learning maturing While I humble I don't seek his house His life of beauty Or the size of their estate I want to cartograph The chambers of my heart As he has To know if my square footage can compare, If my chamber doors swing open, rust themselves closed If rooms are collapsing, any hope to rebuild If I can yearn like Elio, Still.
