A game of Questions and Answers -A Challenge- Are you clever enough to care; inquisitive for virtue's sake? It's your opinion that you are easy Every problem a solution Every cause an effect Maybe I'm simple, but you make me think A way to be happy and whole Rarely do the two coincidence Suddenly you collided into me Like waking from a stare A shocking smack sensation Choking on my own breath Held upside down and forced to live To tell truth, I always knew it was there Color fantastic, vibrance that my infant eyes could not see To tell the truth, I saw brilliance in the gray Until you gave cones to my rods A placid plane beautiful Sensory compulsion Falling back; sinking into the mold Gitty anticipation as the warm resin encapsulates my nose Breathing underwater What a relief? Compared to drowning on dry land I have never been one for dreaming, but you poke glowing pegs through the black construction paper of my mind Depicting what could be Pictogram prophecies I lean on you like philosophy Propping my prospects of prosperity on you This is unfair This leads to disillusionment The frailty of faith's lazy complacency Shepherding you a scapegoat; to the next pasture scheduled for herbicide So blatant yet with holding The function to the utopian equation I'm scared to present you with my data I mean who wouldn't be Like attempting to converse with the divine My head may explode with unworthiness A canvas cadaver At least i know you are into splatter art
