Butterfly

My mouth open and dry

Tis nearly the time

I wait down the clock

Two days in the coming

I watch

Such senses are tingling

I hear out the rain

Alone in the darkness

These thought I do gain

I wait

A tummy of flies fill me

Buttery the kind

Summery salted in sweat

Perfectly fine

I wish

The near is now nearer

I'm still ticking time

My darling this waiting

Soon be our watch

Soon be our wait

Soon be our wish

Soon hear me say

Soon
