I should have known better, fate not to chance To love more than one is not mere circumstance The harder I try to meet that special one The more I hurt others, the fool I've become A lifetime of loneliness, no comfort from above Seeking someone, anyone to love Scarred by rejection, life's total sum I will die alone, this fool I've become Perhaps all would be better had I not been conceived Is there someone for everyone, I cannot believe For some of us the only emotion we know Pain and sorrow are the seeds that we sow Had I a say where I once came from I would have chosen to remain rather than the fool I've become The pain I have caused others just thinking of myself I pray I receive double and hurt no one else Especially the one who I still love the most Half a world away towards the sun's setting coast I am so sorry for hurting you so Rest assured my faults I now know Things are as they are and I can not undo But one thing is certain and will always be true God will grant you peace through your pain and comfort as well But my torment won't end for I am bound for hell My punishment shall forever remain undone Always to remember the fool I've become Don T.
