Two adults Living across the street From one another Peering out windows at night From glowing drawn blinds Spying on each other and Both knowing it With smiles and wrinkled eyes I know it Two older bald men Another love story that just happened Two more people in love just like the rest Forgetting everything they’ve been given And everyone they’ve shared before Letting this be the first and only Shy as two kids could ever be Being just two adults Living across the street From one another.
