For one last time, I took what I had left of you, The pictures of our best moments, Holding it ever so tightly to my chest, Smiling as my heart ached, A reminder of how once your warmth felt against mine, and There it goes shackled in my drawer to be left untouched, Time to write a new story, One without you.
