I wonder if you remember that moment When you walked past me, inobservant My captivated eyes followed your walk And I wished I would get a chance to talk A chance to dance instead, I got As you stood there lonesome in your prom dress He lost you, going for a well-off girl I finally found you, my precious pearl We talked and waltzed all evening and night; You dazzled like sunshine in new moon’s light That’s when I learnt how foolish he was To have parted with you and your love, alas! I think and rethink of it every morning And I often find myself beaming Nothing much to hide, nothing much to say Just a reminder of your flawless beauty for the day

A reminder
