I believed you, I trusted you,
And I gave my heart
to you,
Because when you read your
vows and said I do,
I thought you were giving
me yours too,
But now I feel it was just me,
Realizing there was
never a “we”,
And wondering but
“why me?”,
Now crying to be free,
So just let me be,
In another world if you were
mine to keep,
I’ll always sing you
to sleep…
