What has happened My face has been dampened By my sorrowful tears Nobody has turned their listening ears To know the pain you've put me through Without saying it you tell me tell shoo I'm not asking for attention I don't want this tension All I really want Is for you not to haunt My everyday thoughts Never filling these empty spots You left me wishing we never met But I don't want to think of that just yet Maybe there is a chance things will be fixed How did I get so affixed With the way I thought you cared You could've but we were so unlikely paired Even if I could've seen There was something beneath the sheen Something dark that couldn't be cured A terrible thing has been stirred
