Scribble, sketch, Our opinions etched, On the stone and steel, Upon our family and friends, But we always forget this; what our past did and what our future holds never ends In the here and now, The present, the gift, The only time rift, that you can control, What matters isn’t what we stole, or will steal, For our benefit, but what we feel, And do today, Don’t hang your head in dismay, let it go, Whether we have a paddle or not, we will still continue to row The boat of life, as long as there is water upon which we remain afloat, The power of now.
