Crowded Solitude

Left alone in this world, but there are so many faces around me

Left alone but the noise never ends

Left alone with everyone lying

Left alone

Why does everyone have to pretend they care?

They didn’t give a **** when it would matter

But at the end they say they’ll be there

It would be so much better if they actually stayed the same

So that you don’t have to worry about the stares

And so you know that they aren’t being fake

What does it even matter

It would be so much better if it was actually possible to be alone

And not just feel like you are alone

The noise never ends
