I am singing your song still, long after you have gone. I'm beside myself with the memory of your words, And how they pierced through the layers of complications that plagued our noble attempts. When logic stands, I start to understand our caution, and side with the distance we've built. But when your song begins to play, I start to regret those words I didn't say, and wonder if we had it wrong.
