[verse 1] i told im not perfect my self-unworth is working overtime and turning i told you why i wear a costume as a covert narcissist still flirting like an honest sweet girl its still working hazy, messed up drunk and cluelessly always act abusively right all night- i told you my commitment runs deep and ill never stay in line [chorus] i don't want to be so meek i never come up cause i know this would drown me down im in the wave its gonna break on the edge of something great wait so stay for one more round, i just might come around later today [verse 2] crash and burn to a sun you yearn im not here nor there but greedy, needy stare im desperate without casue im ruthless to no laws i love you to see how much you beg [chorus] i don't want to be so meek i never come up cause i know this would drown me down im in the wave its gonna break on the edge of something great wait so stay for one more round, i just might come around later today [bridge] come back just to leave i love to see how much youll beg im ruthlessly over you [chorus] i don't want to be so meek i never come up cause i know this would drown me down im in the wave its gonna break on the edge of something great wait so stay for one more round, i just might come around later today
