Can you love somebody But never want to talk to them again Because their word are filled with such lies And such hatred That they can rip you apart With one syllable Can you love somebody But never want to stare into their eyes again Because their eyes are so empty Like vast pits That are never able to see anything real Never able to see you Can you love somebody But never want to hold their hand again Because nothing is permanent Give it a couple weeks And that hand won’t be holding yours But rather another girls Can you love someone But know that you’ll never be loved back Despite the rejection Despite the pain Can you still love him?
