A Mantra

a mantra: I can do

things that hurt, I can

do things that hurt,

three miles in, feet

in the dirt, trying

breathe in, cold numb

swim, trying goodbye,

hello, subvert,

feet in the river,

feet in the dirt,

I can do things

that hurt,

I can do things that hurt.
