Poem may be revised I wrote a poem, 5 months ago today. A poem I never thought I'd read again, something I put in the archives and never once believed that I'd see it in front of me again. Here it is, today in my hands. I stare at the screen, because I don't know what else to become of it. To think how far I've come since that was written, to think of where I would be if it had never been inspired. Emotion is felt in those harsh words, as I glance over them one more time. They speak to present day me, in a way I can't quite put a finger on. It is neither good nor bad, just, a feeling. I can remember being confused when I wrote it, and more so now as I read it. There are some things I guess you just never forget, ya know? The words said to me, will never be forgotten, because those are the words, who bring me to where I am today. The funny thing is, they came from the person you'd last expect, but hey, I have to have somebody to thank, because if those words never passed their lips... I wouldn't have had the last 5 months.
