facing a wall pounding fists into a surface that will never give way never fall to pure human force. we hit though; hoping for solace in pain channeling anger channeling frustration channeling love. when we halt our forces when we give up our efforts the wall has won. slumping against a hard surface the numbness starts to fade and pain surfaces. hands red knuckles bruised we are reminded of love thoughts emerge from the haze emotions surface from the fog; suddenly we see. standing up, we breathe and we begin again.
