In My Fathers House

In my Fathers house I seek peace

In His house there is no shame

To hide there is no reason

There are no dark rooms

All are filled with His light

The glow is twenty-four seven

In my Fathers house I seek joy

In His house I find no sorrow

No tears shall fall upon the ground

There is no mourning

No rooms of guilt

His love is throughout

In my Fathers house I seek confidence

In His house there is no quaking

No shivering in fright

His warmth and steadfast life

Hold firm my weakness knees

His strength is my wall

In my Fathers house there is no need for walls

His steadfast love illuminates the room

His strong arms cover me like a warm blanket

His throne is the roof above my head

His robe my floor

I am safe in my Fathers house
