1/4 life cycle

I'm stuck in a cycle of miscommunication

where the heart and the head

play a tug of war

forever changing decisions

of future obligations

commitments of reason

falling in a changing season of life

I'm in self rehab

attempts to end this cycle

stare into the horizon

one day I'll be there

where?

I don't know

but I'll be there

next to you.
