looking back

I remember calling to tell you I'm on the way

I remember thinking of you waiting

I remember how fidgety you looked standing there

I remember the smile when I came near

I remember how you would slide up closer

I remember how happy you made me feel

I remember how quiet you could be

I remember how perfect it all seemed

I don't know why I gave you up

I don't know why I ran away

I don't know what I should have done

I don't know that I would feel like this

I wish you're happy now

I wish I crossed your mind sometimes

I wish I could turn back time

I wish I could say I love you once again
