The night dips its pen
in the silvery inks and starry hues
And writes a testimonial to my solitude
Slinking away within me
A song of hopeful annihilation
Matched in silent rhythm to yours
The darkness slips away
Unnoticed and quiet in its exit
It leaves me braided with the music
