Ideas shining from the folded paper Not asking for much just a simple favor But they disregarded it like its a sin, a danger I wanna make a difference that's all But it feels like I have to climb a brick wall I grew up thinking I'm big but they look at me like I'm so small Aren't we friends... a family? but no we are just a lost mop Trying to get our voices to reach them before we drop Throwing a scramble of the future to the can Seems to be our job Swapping the truth under their eyes They throw us a brush and order us to clean Ourselves from the lies My creativity became a child that cries There are 7 billion people, each one of us matter Calm your temper we just wanna be in the chapter When they do listen to us they mock us with laughter Throw us in jail, cut off our tongues You won't stop us there, we still have our lungs We will be climbing that ladder each of its rungs We will leave our footprints in this earth Our minds, our ideas will be of worth Each of us were made of something great Since our birth Don't let them stop you from being amazing you have the ability to prove them wrong and leave them gazing Within your heart lies a fire that'll never stop blazing
