i wish i wasn’t so scared i wish i wasn’t unsure i wish i didn’t care and didn’t crave and hate exposure because how can i be an artist without an audience? i mean that’s common sense i wish i didn’t tear myself apart over a shred of doubt and be on the defense

fear of being perceived
i wish i wasn’t so scared i wish i wasn’t unsure i wish i didn’t care and didn’t crave and hate exposure because how can i be an artist without an audience? i mean that’s common sense i wish i didn’t tear myself apart over a shred of doubt and be on the defense
I acknowledge that there is a level of irony submitting a poem I wrote about the fear of being perceived on a public platform, but isn’t that a step in the right direction?
