I love you enough

I love you enough that

what is important to me

is not if we are together or apart

but what makes you happy

I’ll miss the time we’d spend

just you and I

and every now and then

tears will come to my eyes

I can’t help that I’ll miss

the time I spent with you

or silently wish

for one more night with you

When I see her kiss you

it’s hard for me to remember

that it’s out of love

my ego must surrender

So I will swallow the hurt

and watch you through loves eyes

and know that I love you enough

to wish you the best in life
