Tears shared across timelines Hoping for a different ending Bags packed and unpacked so many Times the zippers are far past mending Foot prints of failure as Deep as my knees Results we knew were coming But I didn't want to believe Hope that always falters But some how never fades A boomerang of a woman in the Hands of a man unchanged The ache of remembering things That cannot be undone The shame of always staying When sirens yell to run The essence of a young girl Who just wanted to feel safe The constant creeping knowledge that It should have never been this way
