It is almost cruel
How they look at you:
 Cold, indifferent,
Yet steady,
 With an unblinking assurance
 And stubborn perseverance.
She finds them lovely,
 Romantic and so forth;
 So how utterly lucky
 Would be the one
 To hold the bouquet of those
 Silent observers
 With his bare hands…

Now, Voyager
It is almost cruel
How they look at you:
 Cold, indifferent,
Yet steady,
 With an unblinking assurance
 And stubborn perseverance.

 Romantic and so forth;
 So how utterly lucky
 Would be the one
 To hold the bouquet of those
 Silent observers
 With his bare hands…
