Within the white of the ground, snow covers secrets, Secrets one hides to keep others safe, Keep them loved, Winter, hated by some, loved by others, A magical season, soft, honest, Like the Earth is letting the cold wrap around us, Like a blanket, Like the cold that meets you halfway, Never leaves but always forgotten, Missed during the summer, hated during its own time, Winter is only mostly liked when it's Christmas, Never liked for it just being there, Despite the hate, there's an underlying love, Cooling the Earth, Being honest, The love everyone feels, Just waiting to be able to surface.
